活動簡介:
從英語教學系中的Reading Cafe選取海洋議題相關英語繪本,為其設計故事腳本及安排課程活動,進行繪本故事教學,並將海洋議題融入教學活動,進行影片錄製及剪輯,該錄製影片將提供給臺灣偏鄉或離島地區國民小學,充足其英語教學資源並活絡其英語教學。
I chose an English picture book which contains sea issues from the Reading Cafe in the department of English Instruction. I design the script of the story and arrange the course activity. I bring the ocean issue into the teaching activities and teach the picture book for recording the video. As a result, the project will offer a teaching video for Taiwan rural areas in order to enhance their English teaching.

活動成果:
此次計畫的目標是充足臺灣偏鄉或離島地區英語教學資源、活絡其英語教學、提升偏鄉孩童的英語能力。英語是現今國際語言之一,期望藉由英文故事影片教學,增加孩童對英語課程的興趣。更重要的是,希望透過有趣的教學活動提升學習興趣與學習動機,並進而培養自主學習的能力。在計畫的過程中,將海洋議題融入繪本中,讓學生在學習英語的過程中,提升孩童對英語課程的興趣並帶領他們認識海洋議題。期待透過此影片教學,能啟發孩童在趣味性中學習語言,快樂學習。
The main goal of this plan is to fulfill the English teaching materials in Taiwan rural areas and enhance the children's English ability in rural places. As English is one of the international languages, we hope to increase kids' interest in English classes by the English story teaching video. Most importantly, we aim to arouse their interest and motivation in learning, moreover, developing their abilities to self-learn. In the project, we combined the ocean issue with the story to let students understand the ocean issue. We hope to inspire students to learn languages in interesting ways and hapy learning.
